Neil Umhafer, Founder, Chairman of the Board, President
Mr. Umhafer is an accomplished Senior Executive with over 40 years of financial, administrative and operational managerial experience. He has a track record of success beginning with European American Bank, a major NYC bank that was owned by a consortium of the largest banks in Europe, where he developed and ran the Executive Credit Training Program, and before leaving European American Bank, was a Vice President-Corporate Lending for Fortune 500 Companies, Universities, and Hospitals in the Greater New York City area. Mr. Umhafer then joined Commercial Alliance (an AMEX company) that was ultimately acquired as a wholly owned subsidiary of ORIX Corporation of Japan. At ORIX Commercial Alliance (with over $2 Billion in U.S. assets) and it’s predecessors, he served as a Vice President, Sr. Vice President, and a member of the Executive Credit and Management Committees, implementing and administrating lending policies, credit approvals, handling major loan workouts, project funding, negotiation and closing larger transactions, overseeing acquisitions, and supervising the commercial paper and cash management functions. Mr. Umhafer also served as an Executive Vice President, a member of the Board of Directors at ORIX Commercial Alliance and its predecessors, and managed the Special Services Division with P&L responsibility for five operating units and 220 staff. Before leaving ORIX, he was appointed to the Office of President-Corporate Administration.
Since leaving ORIX, Mr. Umhafer has provided strategic financial planning, capital formation, advisory and management consulting to early stage and mature corporate clients as President and Founder of Nova Associates, Ltd.
Mr. Umhafer holds a BBA in Marketing and Finance, and an MS in Banking and Money Management, both from Adelphi University. He also completed the Graduate School of Credit and Financial Management for Corporate Executives at Williams College.
James F. Curry III, Founder, Inventor, Director, and SVP of New Product Development
James F. Curry III is the inventor of the Lock&Rollin technology. Mr. Curry’s career experiences gave him the solid design foundation upon which Lock&Rollin is built. Mr. Curry started as a youth in home construction. He then became plant supervisor in charge of electrical and mechanical maintenance for a major New York based printed circuit manufacturer, and later built his own company that designed, installed and modified production based equipment, including manufacturing and ventilation systems, for the lithographic printing and electroplating industries.
Mr. Curry was a supervising partner in his family’s construction company for 15 years, of his 23-year tenure with the company. After his father’s death in 1997 he, along his wife Patricia, assumed his deceased father’s position as Pastor of Christian Community Church in Farmingdale, New York. Mr. Curry attended college receiving an education in binary electronics, electrical theory, heating, air conditioning, ventilation systems and thermo dynamics. Mr. Curry also sits on the board of three Christian ministries.
Todd Muslow, Founder, Board Member and Chief Financial Officer
Todd Muslow, CPA is a founder of Muslow & Muslow, LLC, a full-service CPA firm based in Shreveport, Louisiana. The firm specializes in business consulting, tax and financial accounting advisory services for individuals as well as closely held business owners throughout the United States. Prior to starting the firm in 2010, he previously held the positions of Chief Accounting Officer and Chief Financial Officer for several transportation and oil and gas related entities in the Shreveport area, as well as an auditor for KPMG, LLP in its Shreveport office. Mr. Muslow also serves on the boards of various non-profit and social organizations in the Shreveport arear. Landeck has 20 years of experience in corporate finance, including the roles of CFO.
Mr. Muslow is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Society of Louisiana Certified Public Accountants. He is a graduate of Centenary College of Louisiana and possesses a Bachelor of Science in Accounting.
Krista Kersey, Marketing & Distribution Advisor
Krista Kersey possesses over 20 years of experience and knowledge in the areas of domestic and international sales, marketing, business development and corporate finance. Following six of those years with Merrill Lynch, Ms. Kersey became President and Principal of Kersey, Scillia, Forster & Brooks, Inc., a FINRA member investment banking firm. Ms. Kersey then went on to Co-Found Nova Associates, Ltd., where she provided strategic financial planning, capital formation, and management consulting for early stage, growth stage and mature corporate entities. She has been directly involved in public and private transactions involving multi-million dollar capital raises, restructures, mergers, acquisitions and advisory services. Ms. Kersey was also the Director of Business Development at Yacht Path, responsible for the design and execution of comprehensive product strategies for Yacht Path’s global platform identifying attractive growth and development.
Ms. Kersey holds a B.B.A. degree in Finance and Marketing from Florida Atlantic University, and is an active local community advocate and member of several domestic and international associations in the finance and marine industries.
James Curry IV, I.T. Director
James Curry IV has over 15 years of Information systems and network experience in addition to manufacturing expertise. His projects have included IT infrastructure design for several hospitals, businesses, and manufacturing facilities. Beginning as a technician in desktop and network support, Jim later joined the Telephonics Systems Engineering Group, where he was responsible for the design and implementation of test procedures in the micro circuitry division. He progressed on to assistant engineer at Intelligent Power Systems of New York; designing and implementing power distribution infrastructure for hospital and manufacturing facilities. There he devised a hybrid network solution utilizing both land and cellular based technologies to monitor power generation systems nationwide, which is still in widespread use.
Mr. Curry is a graduate of Dallas Baptist University, from which he holds a B.B.A. in Finance, and a B.S. in Information Systems Management.
